Join the Shamrock Club on Thursday, December 7 at 6.30 pm at the Irish Cultural and Heritage Center, 2133 West Wisconsin as we celebrate Christmas.
We will feature Margot McMahon, who will be talking of her book,I f Trees Could Talk.
We will have a Christmas dinner. We are providing ham and potatoes and rolls. Please bring a dish or dessert to share.

A Candle in The Window
Cathedral Square Park at 520 E. Wells St. is transforming into Community Spirit Park as part of the Annual Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival. The Shamrock Club will again be decorating one of the trees.
Our theme this year is A Candle in the Window. We invite the members to bring their children and grandchildren to the November meeting on Thursday, November 2nd at the ICHC to help make the decorations. The project will start at 6:00pm and will be followed by Thanksgiving dinner.
Also mark your calendars for Saturday, November 11th at 10:00am. This is the day that we will head to Cathedral Square to decorate our tree.
In 1960, The Shamrock Club of Wisconsin started a revolution in the life of Irish Wisconsin. The organization started small, but eventually became the wellspring of Irish life and culture for much of Milwaukee and the State of Wisconsin. Where there was a void in the cultural side of life, soon the Shamrock Club would fill it with parades, Irish dancing, an Irish festival, scholarships, and so much more.
The Shamrock Club is the oldest and largest Irish American membership organization in the State of Wisconsin. In 2020, we celebrate our 60th anniversary. It was founded on March 17, 1960, in Milwaukee.
Currently, there are chapters in Milwaukee, South Central, Dane County, New London, Fox Cities, and Lafayette County. Statewide chapters hold monthly meetings, organize St. Patrick's Day parades, change the city of New London to New Dublin for the week, raise the flag over the State Capitol, as well as other Irish related activities.
All of our chapters are involved in fund-raising and have donated thousands of dollars to numerous causes in the past five decades.

Membership Dues Can Be Paid Online
The Shamrock Club membership dues are due each year by the end of June.
Dues are $24 for a single, and $36 for a family, and $18 for dance families.
