St Patrick's is a beautiful church, decorated in Celtic knots and crosses. Many members of the Shamrock Club donated hours on its remodeling and restoration, and the Shamrock Club donated over $30,000 towards the work. The Mass combines Irish and English hymns, pageantry, from the many Irish cultural and religious societies, and is a wonderful way to start a day of celebrating St Patrick.
Former Milwaukee Archbishop, and now New York City Cardinal Timothy Dolan was brought to tears during the singing of Lady of Knock. Over the history of the Mass, we have had archbishops, bishops, and now one Cardinal celebrating the liturgy.
